Very Special Coloured Irish Gelding

16.2hh, 4 years old.

This young horse has Hunted with the Carlow Hunt in Ireland last season. He has been shown very successfully in hand in Ireland as a yearling and a 2 year old. Imported from Ireland in May. Exceptional temperament with a very good brain. He is a delight to work with always giving his best. Quiet to do in all respects. He has successfully competed in 2 BYEH qualifiers being in the top 12 each time out just missing out on the top ten. He was placed 6th in his first unaffiliated ODE with a double clear and a good test. He has recently competed a 4 year old PAVO class at Richmond having the third best dressage test, clear SJ and a step sideways at the water otherwise clear XC.

He hacks alone and in company. Very good paces moving from the shoulder, an exceptionally bold jump not spooky in any way. Dougal would suit a variety of disciplines. He is good enough to do Workers, Event or just Hunt! A lovely lovely horse!
