This top of the range lorry was a new build (not conversion) in August 2007. Constructed to the highest specification. The chassis is in extremely good condition, purchased off Scania themselves and therefore very well maintained and serviced. It is unique in that the chassis has a 260 break horse power engine (most are 220bhp) and also has cruise control.
Externally there are 10 storage/tack lockers, under floor living lockers, separate lockers for gas, batteries and of course the horse shower. It also carries a massive water container that never runs out! Also included are tie up mats to protect the exterior.
In the living area you enter through the grooms door to an entrance hall way. This area has a built in but removable mat, surrounded by steel check plate for easy cleaning and aesthetics. Within this area is also a useful wooden storage rack ideal for putting boots, number bibs etc as well as giving access to the horse area, shower and main living area.
The entire living area (including hallway) is lined in oak. It sleeps five people comfortably and has a large seating area, upholstered in leather. The living boasts ample cabinets including 3 wardrobes, microwave, fridge, LCD freeview television, DVD player, hob, grill and oven as well as large sink and drainage sink with hot and cold water. There is also extra storage under the seats if required. This living area was designed not only to look good but also to be easy to keep clean and tidy for someone whose top priority isn’t cleaning!
The horse area is spacious and sturdy. The floor is made of inch thick aluminium and is therefore not only very strong but also safe to wash out without this risk of rotting. There is stock board to 4 ft high and 5 telescopic partitions with headboards. The remainder of the horse area is finished in steel and white and includes at least 5 large lights and a large rug rack.
All in all this is a fantastic lorry which was not only designed to look good but is also very practical to use and easy to drive.
