EQUESTRIAN VACANY SOUGHT

18 year old girl seeks holiday employment hopefully leading to long term employment on finishing A-Levels in July 201. Would like to work on a stable yard, willing to do all aspects of work. Honest, reliable, responsible and not afraid of hard work! Full knowledge of stables as has independently looked after own horses since the age of eight and currently has two horses. Competent rider in all areas, been riding since the age of five. Has been a member of the pony club for 7 years, representing teams and taking part in all activities such as rallies and camps, and has also acquired C Test and Riding and Road Safety Certificate. Lots of experience competing in ODE’s, hunter trials and show jumping etc but has particularly focused on BSJA for the last four years as this is where most interest lies. Able to clip, plait etc and has experience of working with young horses (all horses owned have been bought as 5 year olds), work experience was also at a stable yard involving work with a foal. References are available, as are photos/video’s of riding, which can be emailed if required. I would prefer to work in the local or wider area of Northumberland, currently live in Morpeth town centre.

Help required in small private yard

Person required to help out in a small, private yard in Northumberland with point to pointers, hunters/eventers and several young horses which require handling and/or breaking and bringing on. I need someone who is willing to muck out then ride twice daily before putting some time into the young stock. Applicant must be an experienced rider who has preferably had a good grounding in Pony Club/hunting/eventing fields. Assistance will be given for breaking/handling whenever required. I feel it will be a fun job with the opportunity to compete/hunt and would suit someone who loves working with young horses. We are farming and living in a lovely rural area where your own transport is essential. I regret that we can not take on any more animals but can offer a one bedroom cottage!

I have a small, informal and very successful yard in beautiful countryside nr Ripon.I am looking for someone to help me this winter for approx 25hrs a week.
